NRC held two days seminar in this week for improving partnership modalities to better serve Afghan refugees in Iran .

The Strategic Partnership Seminar hosted by NRC and national immigration organization .they  invited various group of NGOs who are involved with refugees services.

Alongside with NGOs, there were some governmental  partners that are working on same projects with NRC and NGOs.

Since 2012, NRC Iran has been assisting displaced Afghans in Iran as well as their Iranian host communities. their field of activities and targets is to  working to improve protection and access to basic humanitarian services across ten provinces and coordinate closely with UNHCR and other Regional Refugee Response Plan partners in Iran, and with NRC operations in Afghanistan.

As they mentioned in their website  their  programme in 2023 will continue to focus on supporting the protracted refugee caseload and the new arrivals living in refugee settlements and within host communities.

There are many good reasons for NGOs to work together to reach a common goal. When each partner brings its own expertise and resources to a program the impact can be multiplied. The sum total of the partnership is worth more than what each NGO can achieve on its own. In this regard NRC held this event to stablish a new atmosphere of partnership and cooperation between NGOs and national bodies

HAMI association also participated in this two-day seminar due to its several decades of activity in the common field  with NRC. By sharing our experiences with other participants, we were able to achieve joint goals and interactions. We in HAMI were also able to draw long-term Roadmap for each other by creating a friendly atmosphere full of humanitarian cooperation.
