HAMI centers has began to host summer programs in Focus to develop curriculum and group activities to facilitate students’ adjustment to learning and living in cities and town that our centers are based. in QOM and SEMNAN and MASHHAD we started the project of summer classes.
Refugee and immigrant kids face the unique challenges of adjusting to a new school system and educational expectations, while also trying to reestablish a sense of community and rootedness in a new culture.
We wanted to choose activities that give kids a chance to express themselves in different ways that also teach them skills such as discipline, cooperation, self-control, and respect, By providing activities within a safe structured environment, so that children can gain self-esteem, build positive relationships, and practice English.
