The project of social service centers of HAMI centers in Mashhad and Semnan, which was implemented since August of this year with the support of the High Commissioner for Refugees and Foreign Nationals Department, was successfully completed within a period of 7 months. This project, which was able to provide services to more than 4 thousand people in the two cities of Semnan and Mashhad, was successfully completed.
Our social service centers have organized various classes for different age groups in the field of education in issues such as health, life skills and legal assistance .
Also, in the social service centers of these two cities, psychological and legal counseling services have been continuously implemented
- Target population of the project were divided in following groups
The target population of the project in the cities of Mashhad and Semnan was among the vulnerable population of women and children in the age groups of 5 to over sixty years old in the peripheral areas of these cities. Considering the amount of damage in the immigrant and refugee community and that women and children were usually exposed to the most challenges, improving their capacity and reducing their problems was one of the important goals of this project. The target population identified in this project were divided into three sections:
Afghan women refugees and asylum seekers aged 18 to 60 according to the type of need, educational, cultural and social level.
Refugee and asylum-seeking children aged 6 to 18 years, according to the type of needs counted.
