Hami Educational Centers in Tehran started their activities in 2008 in Shurabad area, located in the south and Kan area in the northwest of Tehran, which were among the migrant areas of the capital, as a result of which hundreds of migrant children drop out of school every year. Officially, they studied and benefited from other social and cultural services provided to children and their families.

Also, since 2017, Hami Educational Center, with the help of Tehran Municipality Social Services and Welfare Organization, started operating in Janatabad neighborhood of Tehran and has been able to host hundreds of refugee and immigrant students who are not able to attend public schools.

In addition to educational services to students, the center, through its social work activities in relation to the families of students under its auspices, always provides social, livelihood and counseling services on a part-time and continuous basis.
