HAMI governed by the Board of Trustees which is the highest policy and decision making body of the association. The board of Trustees consists of 13 members who are the original founders of the society as well as number of prominent academics and Social activists in the field of social sciences.
Three members of board of management and an inspector are elected by the board of trustees for a period of two years. The board includes one executive director, a deputy and an accountant who are elected to carry out the goals of the association through adopting appropriate plans.
According to the society’s articles of association all the activities of the members of the board of trustees and the board of management are voluntary work.
The association’s other bodies are:

2) Education and research committee
3) Legal committee
4) Financial affairs committee
5) Supervision and evaluation committee.
