Holding the Literary Award “One Thousand and One Nights”
SHARGH Literature Center with Hami are holding The 7th edition of the Thousand and One Nights Literary Award that will be held in Tehran with the participation of writers from Afghanistan and Iran.
Seyyed Mahmoud Hosseini, an Afghan storyteller and festival founder, said that this “Literary Award” seeks to promote the quality of writing of young people in Afghanistan, with a special and deeper look at Afghanistan s literature.
The seventh festival which will take place in February in Tehran, will appreciate Professor MJ khavari the literary fiction and pioneer of Afghanistan. The deadline for the submission of stories is at the end of December, and awards will be awarded to the first to third persons of this festival.
We hope that the festival would give some hope for Afghanistan’s fictional literature at the time when Afghanistan faces some desperation and insecurity and subsequent emigration.
The award will be awarded to three top performers of the festival, a statue and a Credential, a score for the publication of an independent work (collection of novels) and one-year booklet.
Conditions for submitting the work to the secretariat of the festival:
- The story should be sent as a Word file
- Submission should have short stories
- Not published in any book or publication
- Not attended in any Literary Festival
